Occupational Therapist - Community & Rural Outreach
We are looking for a passionate and adventurous Occupational Therapist to join our growing Allied Health team in a dynamic role that blends city-based community care with fly-in fly-out (FIFO) outreach to remote South Australian communities. Role: Community Occupational Therapist – Home Care & FIFO Outreach
To be successful in this role:
- You will deliver person-centred OT services to clients across metropolitan Adelaide and remote South Australia, including Home Care Package recipients, NDIS participants, and paediatric clients.
- You will complete functional assessments, prescribe assistive technology, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support independent living and quality of life.
Essentials:
- National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years)
- Up to date Influenza vaccination
- Must hold a Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration (unrestricted)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ community OT experience (aged care and/or NDIS preferred)
- Valid SA driver’s licence and willingness to fly in small aircraft for outreach
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
